BEGINNER CABLED MITTEN
Want to learn how to knit cables? They are not as hard as you might think. In this class you will also learn how to use double pointed needles to work in the round. These mittens work up fast using super bulky yarn and big needles. Student need to know the basics of knitting before taking this class, cast on, cast off, knit stitch and purl stitch. You will need super bulky yarn, we used Yusha, 1 set size 10 ½ double pointed needles, stitch holder, and stitch markers.

Intrigued by Mosaic knitting? Never heard of it, but would like to be able to knit geometric designs in two colors without having to wrestle with multiple colors in one row? This class will cover the basics of Mosaic knitting, a class of slipped-stitch patterns. Students need to know the basics of knitting before taking this class, cast on, cast off, knit stitch and purl stitch. MITERED SQUARE WORKSHOP
This beautiful shawl really shows off the colors of Noro yarn, making each diamond look like you switched to a new color. In this class you will learn the mitered square or domino knitting technique. This involves centered decreases and picking up stitches to great effect. Students need to know the basics of knitting before taking this class, cast on, cast off, knit stitch and purl stitch. You will need 3 balls of Noro Silk Garden yarn, size 7 needle and stitch markers.

Hardanger Club
Now meeting at Mary Lue’s on the first Saturday of every month from 9 to 12 . The instructor is Mary Lee Leske from New Ulm. She is very accomplished in hardanger and has been involved with the club for several years. New and old members are welcome to come and share in Mary’s expertise and socialize with other hardanger enthusiasts. We’ll provide the coffee, the location and instructor all for only $20.00 a year. Club members also will receive 10% off on their supplies at the club meeting every month
