CONTINENTAL BEGINNER KNITTING

Learn to knit faster (and easier on the hands/wrists).  Continental knitting (sometimes called “picking”) is where the yarn is held in the left hand and “picked” with the working needle.  By holding the yarn in the left hand, you avoid dropping the needle to loop the yarn leading to a faster – more even work.  This way of knitting can also be easier for a left-handed person or a crocheter to pick up.  You will need one ball of Encore Chunky yarn and size 10 ½ needles.

Skill Level:  Beginner – Ages 12 and up

Class Dates: Tue. Sept. 21 & 28    6:00pm-8:00pm                             Cost:   $28
