Knit up this delightful spring/summer cardigan without ever needing to cut the yarn! Hitofude means "a single brush stroke" in Japanese, and this open-front cardigan is knit in a single Dzstrokedz of yarn. Along the way, you’ll learn how to do a provisional cast on with crochet hook, the 3-needle bind off, and a stretchy bind-off, with large swaths of a simple lace pattern in between. To ensure you will end up with a well-fitting cardigan, it is essential that you swatch BEFORE class and find out what your gauge is. You can swatch to find which needle size will produce the pattern gauge, or swatch to find a pleasing fabric -- either will work. Swatch in Chart A, and be sure to wash AND block your swatch(es) so the cardigan will continue to fit after you wash it.
Materials: Circular needle, 32" long, in size needed to obtain gauge (between US 3 > and US 7, most likely), 5 stitch markers,, 3.25 mm crochet hook, Spare dpn or circ. Needle- same size or smaller, 2 lengths of waste yarn.
